This storm damage in Atco New Jersey was the result of the sump pump failing. On a very stormy night in Atco this home owners sump pump faile them when they needed it most. The streets were flooded with water up to the shins. When the SERVPRO crew arrived we realized we had a big job at hand. When we walked downstairs and our feet touched the carpet floor it was like stepping onto a big huge sponge. When we were taking out the carpet we needed to go with one small piece at a time due to how heavy the carpet was because of the water.
